Ondo Industrialist seeks patronage of locally-made products

By Wilson Macaulay Ore  Managing Director of the Ore Industrial Park, Dr. Femi Akinkuebi, has reiterated the need for the Nigerian Government and its people to take pride in massively investing in locally made products as a way of boosting the nation’s income.  The Managing Director made the disclosure while addressing newsmen on Thursday in Akure, the Ondo State Capital. Ijaw Youths Vow To Resist Part-Time Board For NDDC

Igoniko Oduma Yenagoa  The purported recommendation of a part-time board for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in the forensic audit report has been kicked against by Ijaw youths under the auspices of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC). In statement on Sunday, the council's spokesman, Ebilade Ekerefe faulted the recommendation and described it as unacceptable, saying it was a violation of the law establishing the NDDC. Ekerefe vowed that the IYC would resist a part-time board "at all cost", stressing that the recommendation was "the handiwork of self-styled politicians who desire to turn the NDDC into their own personal enterprise." Court Dismiss Alleged Molestation Case Against Delta Gubernatorial Hopeful

  Wilson Macaulay Warri A High Court sitting in Effurun, Delta State, has dismissed infringement suit seeking the enforcement of fundamental rights filed by Okiemute Diaghwarhe against Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, a 2023 governorship hopeful. It can be recalled that Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi was charged to court for allegedly stripping four of his staff naked for stealing a sum of N 5, 000.  While delivering his judgement, the Presiding Judge, Justice Emmanuel Z. Dolor, said that the suit with Reg. No. EHC/FHR/79/2020, lacked merit, and could not hold water. Justice Dolor revealed that the legal battle started on October 5, 2020 as an originating motion on notice.
