Clement Ofovwi, popularly known as General Oloye, has passionately appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to retain the pipeline surveillance contract currently handled by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, citing the remarkable achievements recorded in the protection of Nigeria’s oil assets and the significant boost to the nation’s economy. Speaking against the backdrop of recent security concerns and political tensions in parts of the country, Hon. Ofovwi emphasized that the engagement of Tantita under the leadership of Niger Delta leader Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has dramatically reduced oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and illegal refining activities across the Niger Delta region.
